Jeremy's side of the family lives around here for the most part, except his sister Mandi and her family who couldn't make it from Rochester because of a wedding and the winter storm. Jeremy's cousin Heather and her fiance Luke are her other godparents, and we're glad it worked for them to be in town, amidst getting ready to move soon. So this weekend we were once again reminded of how blessed we are with such wonderful families.
Speaking of the storm, which brought 10+ inches down here in Mankato Sunday/Monday, I was pretty happy about its timing. Everyone was planning to leave Monday, but with the roads being so crappy and it still snowing most of the day, they all stayed until Tuesday. So we had an extra day of movies, playing in the snow, playing cards and just spending quality time together.
Tuesday morning after everyone left, the house was all too quiet. But thankfully I've got some artwork on the fridge from Joshua and Bella, and plenty of pictures to remind me of the weekend.

Love the pics, Ski! Especially the one with all the little cousins hanging out. Ashlynn is growing so much and looks different already!
My fave is Ashlynn with her cake...it's for sure bigger than her! All the kiddos are cute :) Miss you. Love you.
I wish for more snow weekends. Loved it.
