Censored

I have to start being VERY careful about what I say around Ashlynn. Case in point...

The other night during Ashlynn's bath, my back was to her while I was putting something back in a drawer. I turned around to her dumping a full cup of water over the side of the tub onto the rug/floor. As I quickly picked up the rug, I must have said under my breath (swear I didn't realize this at the time), "dammit". Not even in anger towards her or anything, and I feel terrible now that I even said it, but it was just one of those things that slipped under my breath as a quick reaction.

Well, sure enough, Ashlynn looks up at me and goes "daammmmiiittt" and proceeds to giggle. I lost it...I sat on the floor, rug in hand, laughing uncontrollably. Which of course didn't help a thing because she giggled more and said "dammmiiitttt" in her adorably sweet little voice another time. I literally had to leave the room to compose myself and help her change the subject. Thankfully she hasn't said the word since and I'm sure she won't ever again unless she hears someone say it.

While the moment still makes me laugh as I think of her saying it with a little giggle (it was so cute, too!), I have to keep myself censored. Sheesh!

My little bad ass...I mean sassy girl :)

Oooh stinker...I think kids know when they say something naughty (hence the giggles). SO hard not to laugh.
