Memorial Day Weekend

Have I mentioned how much I love 3-day weekends? Because I do. Last weekend our friends from college Dan Buker and Keri Feller got married in Owatonna. Jeremy was a groomsman, so we had the rehearsal/dinner Friday night and then the wedding Saturday. Gorgeous weather, a beautiful bride and an extremely fun reception, including plenty of dancing (Jeremy sweat entirely through his shirt and vest). Time spent with the old college crew always brings back memories, and we always manage to create some more, too. And I got some quality time with one of my best friends Bibs! She and her boyfriend Andy made the trek from Green Bay, and I couldn't have been happier to get a day with her.

Sunday was mine and Jeremy's 1 year wedding anniversary. Crazy how fast that went! And we couldn't be happier together (insert corny "awww"). We spent most of the day lounging...let's just say that a night of partying like the good 'ol days makes for a lazy Sunday. We had dinner and dabbled into our wedding cake that had been in the freezer for a year. Surprisingly tasty...kudos to Cold Spring Bakery! Sunday night my brother Jeff, sister-in-law Bobbi, niece Bella and nephew Joshua drove up from St. Louis and stayed the night at our place. Jeff and Bobbi flew out Monday afternoon from Mpls for a 2-week European vaca and the kids went with my parents for 2 weeks. On Monday, we all met up in St. Paul for a picnic with my parents and John before Jeff and Bobbi's flight. The entire family together. Love it.

Apparently we like to cut off heads (ehem, Dad)

And now one with Dad in it

Tonight I'm meeting up with Rachel and Erin for a bit of a ladies night...dinner, Sex & The City 2 and out in Uptown. Okay, that definitely qualifies as a ladies night. Should be fun!
