21 Weeks

We had our monthly doctor appt yesterday morning, and everything went really well. This was Jeremy's first visit with me, so he got to meet Dr. Larson and see our baby live for the first time. What an experience...I think I fall more in love with him when I see his reaction to our babe and when he talks about him/her. Jeremy's already a wonderful husband, and will make an amazing dad.

Onto the goods. This was the half-way ultrasound, so Dr. Larson did a lot of measuring of body parts and really took his time showing where everything was. He basically looks for anything abnormal, and I'm happy to report that everything is normal and on track! Baby W was showing off his/her bum for the entire ultrasound, so we saw a lot of spine (which, Jeremy said looks like a walleye, so now it's Baby W for Wolff and walleye I guess). But we still got good views of the heart (149 bpm), kidneys, bladder, umbilical cord, brain, hands, legs, feet, etc. Based on some of the measurements, they've got me at a couple days under 21 weeks but Dr. Larson said he'll keep our same due date for now because it's so close. All in all, a great way to start the week!

And yes, this is one of my first official maternity shirts. Not a huge fan of some of the ones I've been finding to wear to work, but I think this one was about $5 so can't complain.
